I’m halfway through s2 of The Bear and it’s one of the best seasons of television I’ve ever watched. It’s mind-blowingly great. the characters are all great, the writing and cinematography are great, and each episode tries something a little different. masterful. also hiro murai is goated

i’m halfway through S2, and I just find it so boring? S1 was amazing, and I don’t think I will ever forget the second to last episode of it

it’s definitely not as linear narratively, nor ‘can’t-stop-watching’ plot-driven. but I think it’s masterful stuff

agreed on s1e7 though

S2 feels more character driven so less season cohesion and more episodic

S1e7 was some of the most uncomfortable I've felt watching TV 🫣 really amazing how they can do that
