Luckily, the company provided packers and movers. Unluckily, nobody told us what box the bed frame legs are in. We have found one so far after searching most of the boxes. This has both been frustrating as hell and helped motivate us to get through the unpacking stage more quickly.

As I get older and now have a kid to raise, I'm realizing "fuck around and find out" was my stupid unwritten rule. Now, I'm grateful to have survived all my decisions long enough to learn a few lessons. Youth is weird, getting old(er) is much better imo.

Have a bit of spending money and I want a Philip K. Dick book I haven't read, looking for recommendations. Top 3: Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch, A Scanner Darkly, and UBIK. Have read: most short story collections (I think), Do Androids...?, 3-4 others I can't think of right now.

AI assistant feature: let's you know how "weird" you're being compared to everyone else. Also, then immediately reassures you it's OK to be weird and your secret is safe.

Since having a kid, it's been a not-always-successful battle to not swear. I've recently noticed my thoughts have been censored to "gosh" and "darn," sometimes even when frustrated, and we aren't religious. Anyway, it led me to wonder: do people normally swear as much in their head as they do out loud?

It would be cool if my city coordinated the city skyline's lights to provide information at a glance like current air quality or forecast. Idea inspired by the fun public light show at the nearby park, which they should have days for citizens to control the show, too. Or sync to different local radio stations.

Before I forget again, does anybody know of an AI DJ that can create the bridges between songs? Like tell it to take a solid minute to get between songs, but create an organic bridge for you? And/or, somewhat similar, create an original mashup between songs/artists/albums? (I don't mean "this in that style".)

Those who ponder on their commute rather than focus on a podcast or something, what do you ponder? Also, what do you think peak human achievement has been so far? Is it sliced bread? Going to the moon? The internet? How about will be the greatest achievement? Utopia? Singularity? Eliminating spam calls and messages?

You know how I know I'm getting old? I've been having so many issues with technology not working, and it's never my fault anymore.

I've been keeping a running list of questions for "later" that I hope to have answered if there's an afterlife with all of data avaliable (that isn't a typo, I want all of data). Went to enter "What number human am I?", found "How many people never get shit on by a bird in their life? How about by another human?"

Idea: an AI that will connect with your listening history/likes and provide better recommendations and understands that when I want recommendations based off a song, I explicitly mean that and not the artists/genre. Spotify fails often when using a seed song/album that is different from a musician's normal output.

Anybody at ETHDenver right now and awake, gorgeous sunrise occurring right now. To be fair, most mornings, it's amazing (lived here 2 years), so make sure you catch it another day if not today!

Idea: Whatever that AI-avatar app was, but makes you a theme song instead. Could be based on listening history and social media in v1? Allow for prompting and physical inputs to tweak and constantly match your mood in vX. Success = everyone walking around quietly playing their theme song on speaker like audio auras.

Before I was thinking having AI-generated music would be cool, but it would be even cooler to have a publicly available, eternally running AI B2B AI set going. Sort of like putting two chat bots in a room together, but just jamming out, creating increasingly wild beats.

AI business idea: Set up an 800 number & site for anybody to call/visit and rant about any product for as long as they want, vulgarity and all. AI summarizes the rant into actionable changes to the product and sells feedback to the company that produces it. Or keep the info and release a superior product if feasible.

Just got a promotion in my 9-5 to my first management position. Highly excited, very nervous to have leadership responsibilities. Feel like I finally understand the 😅 emoji.

Does anyone have any examples of AI-assisted design and manufacture? Essentially, using text description and image reference to have AI produce a 3D model that the AI can then translate into G-code for printing or machining is what I'm trying to find. Or better keywords I can use to research more? 🤔

Now that I know about @ncbot, I have a goal to learn to make a killer fried egg in a stainless steel pan without it sticking. If you're into cooking, I'd like to follow you. Also, I am open to any advice, especially recommendations for a starter pan (<$50), flipper, and butter or fat to use.
