Confused by this.

Thought the whole point of e/ acc was to acc all tech & economic growth?

If you want some things to acc & not others aren’t you just an advocate for a given tech/industry?

Many who are pro degrowth would say they are e/ acc green energy. But degrowth and e/ acc communities are like oil and water.

Let me be more clear. By saying I’m decel in AI I’m not saying I’m pro degrowth. I’m pro reasonable growth.

Not really. More like trying to win the basketball game strategically and not just running around without knowing what you’re doing.

That’s what everybody wants. In what sense are you a decel?

I’m worried the people pushing AI forward are only doing it to profit from being the first to achieve the best possible AI.

If money is what motivates the development of AI, this is going to end bad.
