The longer I fast in the evening, the better I sleep. I used to do 3 to 4 hours of fasting, but I've recently switched to ~7 hours and the improvements in HRV and restfulness are noticeable.

Intermittent fasting has been shown to be beneficial in a number of ways. Prior to sleep, 2 hours minimum since last meal/snack. This is pretty strong and fairly well documented science.
