I had several really gross interactions with the traditional banking system this week. In one day they: - Skimmed 10%+ on a basic currency conversion - Farmed my personal data when creating a new account - Prevented me from sending more than $500 in a day The system is fucked. We really need crypto to win.

Traditional banking always has the worst conversion rates. I do mine at a currency conversion place in Chinatown. Better rates if I pickup a week later. It's a cash advance for them but I'm getting 10% better rate! There's hidden gems outside of the mainstream system, question is how we can bring it more mainstream
