Inspired a bit by a discussion I had with @kevinoconnell today.. I realized most good that’s happened in my life has been downstream of something I’ve worked hard at These days that manifests in finding pockets to bang out an hour of writing here.. or maybe a session of deep work there Oddly satisfying though I think back to times when struggled to find the time or energy to do work on things I needed to do. Almost felt like I had more dog in me back then.. except it’s the opposite I’ve found myself in the fortunate position to wander farther away from tasks and jobs that gnaw at me.. to ones that pump me up to slave away at into the night As I sit here in the dark as Sunday becomes Monday.. I find myself grateful for everyday I chose my hard.. before hard found me
