Had a play date today where we learned about the sperm donor process (lesbian couple conceiving via sperm donor + IVF)

1. there’s literally Facebook groups for everything. they’re on a FB group for sperm donor kids meeting their sperm donor siblings. Little boy has 12 half siblings

2. If you thought dating app filter criteria were tough, ask someone about their criteria for the genetics of their future child

3. Insurance will make you jump through every hoop before they let you expense IVF on their watch

1. Damn, been considering doing this myself in the next 5 years or so but I don’t want my children to have half-siblings

I have friends that did extensive research on this before they chose, they are happy with their baby ❤️
