Giving it some thought with the latest airdrop experiments. Teams should recognize what an ad is.. it’s getting someone who doesn’t know you are to know who you are Small airdrop accomplishes that Tricky thing about allocation is that if you go too wide with the airdrop, sellers negatively affect holders (at least in a small way) Who you want to target for these should be people who would want to use your token for its intended purpose AND potentially want to buy more of it

Yeah, looks like they don’t consider that here but it’s also kind of a tedious process don’t you think?

It should be easier on farcaster, you can see transaction history and narrow things down from there. Who regularly transacts on frames, who dumping previous airdrops etc

Tbh I think it’s more interests and chance they’d use something new. Dumping airdrops (in this case) is bad targeting

Yeah I get what you mean.. if there’s no genuine interest people will just offload whatever they get, better targeting definitely helps, though I’d like to think there’s still some room for new users to get hooked if the project is compelling enough.

The only way I can think of to properly gauge what users would be the right fit for a product would be to sift through their casts and see what their particular interests are, unless you’re using their on-chain activity to see if they’re using similar products otherwise theirs really no other way to know 🤷🏽
