This is why the question framing matters. Where and who asks this question can flip the answers

a better multiple choice is "what don't you like about the channel changes?" the nos may have nothing in common in which case there's not a viable product solution

I already see anecdotally in different chats that the changes further alienate you from the feed if you didn’t build up a following already Reality with building product is that you’re lucky if you get constructive feedback. Usually you just get churn

i think what alienates me from the feed is the warpcast algo that decides for me that i want to see casts from people i most recently interacted with versus the topics that i am generally interested in catching up on daily that's very true what you said about churn

Would be kinda cool to see topic streams similar to YT recommendations

yeah, that's pretty necessary for me to enjoyably interact with a feed on a regular basis i look at the warpcast home feed as something that i need to chop through with a machete, tho i still do it, so... ?

Also it indexes on recency (for good reason). In some ways topic rabbit holes transcend time

Maybe it’s an assumption about social that we need to revisit questioning

i think so.... when i scroll youtube shorts, it doesn't just show me the most recent content from every creator it shows me the content the algo thinks i'll be most likely to engage with, even if it's months old if that algo philosophy were brought to social, it'd be a lot more entertaining and we'd maybe discover the best (most interesting) things about each other? it's why i set the default feed for heyjoinatlas.com/channels to show the best performing content over the last 100 casts in descending order
