2/5 Unlike Web2, where social is about visibility, Web3 social is about permission. Your score gates access to opportunities, and it’s already happening on Farcaster. Any system built in Web3 social will use scoring to determine who gets in and who doesn’t.

Having a clear guide or manifesto could really help users understand the platform's purpose, how to make the most out of it, and the rules for interaction and growth in this space. It should be clear for both new users and existing members. The appeal here is that it’s different from Web2 networks, but since most people transition from Web2, they can get confused at first.

You're absolutely right. All the points you highlighted here are very much necessary to get the best out of any Web 3 social apps. But to be honest, farcaster have really done a lot in this aspect. I can't just imagine how smart some bots that are humans in this case are.

Just strange that we then just rebuilt a social control (scoring) system, kind of mimicking the old world, that crypto was about to solve ("banking for the unbanked"). So again we end up with an exclusive instead of an inclusive system.

Im very sad boss After about 1 year of activity in FC , I received 0 spam label, There is no support ticket, no correction I have 225 days of streak in degen & was always a holder And now they want to destroy my account along with the bots :( , am I worth continuing to work? Unfortunately not
