I was very confused by @woj.eth's post about earning a 300% APY on my LDEGEN, because I'm not earning any APY on mine... 

Then I had a look at the leaderboard: https://www.degen.tips/airdrop2/current

and noticed that @devilsangjin (rank 3 currently) + @yousangjin seem to be doing a great job of earning that 300% APY by tipping each other their full allowance each day.

So, is starting a Tip cabal OK for season 6? 🤔

Noticed confusion about the 300% APY from @woj.eth – it was for comparison only. While some form tip rings, farming DEGEN this way isn’t ideal. Attracting followers, driving traffic, or building something valuable with your tips offers more benefits. Reward meaningful contributions and grow the community!

This sums up what Degen is and should be about quite well.

My question still stands, do very clear tipping rings, like the one I highlighted get banned?

Banning hasn’t worked—too subjective, labor-intensive, and unfair once Degen is locked. Instead, tweak tipping mechanics to make rings harder. Options: a 1-year vault with 4x share boost, rules for some tips not counting, or a max tip limit per person. We just need to find the right fit. 69 $DEGEN

I get it’s labour intensive and I know your not going to get everyone, I don’t even expect you to get 20% of abusers but come on, having a clear farmer in Rank 3 is so bad on so many levels. 

So what if their DEGEN is locked, they broke the rules, pay the price.

It’s not unfair if people are clearly violating the spirt of the token distribution. You don’t have to go after every person doing this but you can look at the people at the top at least.

what if it was onchain and liquid and none of these issues existed wouldn’t that be amazing
