3/5 Do we acquire valuable companies? Or should we incentivize and give grants to top builders in Web3 or even Web2? Perhaps building our own great product, like Blur, Uniswap, or Warpcaster, with massive potential is the way to go.

I like this also because I'm in the target group. I'd love to open-source the "Trillian of social media" I'm working on instead of finding investors. It's starting to take too much time to work on besides a full-time job and family. I'm 50+ with kids and a mortgage so it's just not viable anymore to just throw it out there. Besides that it would be cool if you guys were foundational in the development and financing of freedom and privacy enhancing software like @cassie's Quillibrium, Sarah-Jami Lewis' Cwcth, Signal, etc. (Also do not forget charity!) https://warpcast.com/aerique.eth/0xd5a89884

Maybe less about giving grants to devs as helping to promote them w/ real users or TVL/volumes, etc. Blast did have their grant competition w/ voting from VCs, angels, "KOLs", etc. and I think that worked well for them.

Building or investing in industry leading companies is a very difficult skill — no one is likely to casually do it well while doing other complex things Focused grants to make Degen a de facto currency of social builders (drakula) is less difficult and relates to other ideas

I think incentivizing and giving grants to builders on web2/3 is the best option, we can use this to drive more values to the project, coupled with maybe one other option
