As I understand it, it's the entire thread (ie, the thread tree). but @jacek would need to confirm. so the idea is to tip in places curators won't annul, like a Degenpad thread? or are they just hoping nested comments aren't included in the correction? Either way, props on the attempt 🤌

The ‘dedegen’ command removes tips from the message above the one you’re on, not from the main post. So, if you’re in a three-level thread and use ‘dedegen’ at the bottom level, it will remove tips from the second level, but the main post will still keep its tips.

but if I comment with a d$degen on the main cast, it will remove ALL tips for this main cast - because I'm on the second level, regardless how many levels of comments are there, yes or not?

so on a cast that is clearly a farmer, you'd have to dedegen every single tip on that cast
