The price of a crypto asset matters if you own it already. It doesn't matter if you don't own it. It's downstream of market cap.

A token priced at $0.01 feels “cheap,” so we think it has more room to grow, even if the supply is massive. Also, we often assume higher price = higher quality or importance. This happens with luxury goods and with assets. A $100 coin feels more “premium” than a $1 one, even if their fundamentals are identical.

I'm aware of unit bias, but it doesn't change the original point that without market cap, price isn't meaningful. a $0.01 coin with a $1T market cap vs. a $100 coin with a $100K market cap.
