With allowances capped, we need a smart way for large wallets to sponsor small wallets. Mayhaps time for you to consider letting wallets above certain sizes delegate their unutilized allowances (ie, whatever they'd get beyond the cap limit). Whitelist the function to the largest wallets with the longest hold times (Feb forward) maybe. The Degentlemen 🎩

Yes, you have to agree with the comments that confirm with designed algorithm in favor of whales. You will lose community's trust when the daily efforts of the community are not important. At first, I thought this new decision would pave the way for more decentralization, but seeing the results, it is clear that it is quite the opposite! The whole new algorithm clearly says that everything is for the benefit of the whales, not the community.

I had a thought on the tip locks, I think you should eliminate some of the outlier values that people staked. Example the guy/gal who staked 15 million degen should only have as much counted as would give him/her a 10k allo, and the excess should not be counted in the pool for tips. Same with all large locks, so staking a large amount would give them a safety net for maintaining their 10k allo, but only counting the minimum required for max allo would lower the average amount to receive the max. Just a thought. I boom on either way.

Same here I don’t have a problem with you guys changing the rules to avoid these farmers, but these same farmers are locking up so much degen the honest degen builders will be penalized

It is worthwhile. You with farcaster made a revolution in socialfi. I know other platforms like DeSo that have similar incentives and tipping but degen-farcaster has outperformed it in big way because of strong communities. We must not loose sight what makes a good and healthy community: the community itself. I know you know it. I know others know it. Is just that we need to take care of people with fat wallets to not ruin it for everybody as they always do.

unfortunately, there are no restrictions per day on tipping one person, there is no equal distribution of allowances between participants yet, one can only dream of justice) a person writes content without a power badge -0 allowances. A man with a power badge and TOP user writes "GM" - 1000+ tips per post. There is no sense of justice

Like @adnum says, hat off for everything you have buildt here! 🙌 And I think lock-ups are smart. The incentive should still be skewd towards all the smaller accounts. We all know it can’t last, so there has to be limitations as well. And preferably a system for «redistribution» (platform fees or similar going back to stakers) And most of all, creating a culture for tipping those that deserve tips! An anti-money-grabbing culture. Something new to crypto and web3 😅 Floaties and paybots (and similar) is the way! Let’s keep on tipping! 👊
