GE i’ve shifted from a naive globalist to a staunch American patriot over the last 2 years. i’m not an imperialist but i would deffo build systems to protect our way of life and world view - liberty, education, and social mobility. we have our issues to iron out but i believe in us maybe a spicy take idk

“Our” way isn’t really American. America was likely the biggest symbol for the values you mention in recent history. But America also has a history of slavery, imperialism, and at the end of the day is a self interested nation. I’d rather fight for those values without any nationalistic motives or beliefs.

This is why I am in Web3. The Internet is the frontier, the same way America was the frontier in the 1600s. We are headed towards a new era of those values being given to more than just one major nation. P. S. I am an American.

i do think nation states will not go down without a haaaaard fight i liked what @balajis.eth says about God-State-Network and how they can coexist. ie you can maxi Jesus or America or ETH etc and those are all fine and can coexist and all also have pros and cons and create different motivators

Agreed with both your replies. Would love a world of coexistence. Though, I do think the road is a tough one. Been obsessed with the idea of pluralism lately.
