Came here to learn more about crypto so I can more effectively advocate for its abolition before it ruins everybody here and the rest of us along with it

the beautiful thing about crypto is that it’s novel on the fringe

as such, nobody knows what the fuck they’re doing because it’s never been done before—that is in fact the best part about it

that said, it takes a certain kind of mind to be here; i always say you either played an og mmo or your interests lie at the intersection economics & philosophy—95% of us came from one of these two buckets

we are biologists, physicists, engineers, writers, quants, philosophers, artists, corporate drones & blue collar workers—all gathered together in the unknown

to that end, crypto is an amalgamation of thousands of diverse life & professional experiences—it is alive

this is why it’s so bottom-up; so rooted in mimetics & emergence; this is also why the next big unlocks will likely come from folks who have not yet discovered blockchain, particularly as we enter the era of apps, composability & creativity

this is also why elitism has no place here & why tribalism works against us in the long-term
