If your goal is making money in crypto it’s not about ETH vs SOL. It’s not about L1 vs L2. It’s not about meme vs utility. 

It’s about hype, momentum, volume, volatility, and taking some risks on what isn’t being discussed. 

When the thing feels obvious to everybody it’s already over.

Interested in music, photography, technology, and sports.

Watch how many influencers write about the narrative of a coin or a chain longer after it has gone up by a lot. 

Then go check how many times they mentioned it before it went up by a lot.

On the other side of the coin, no pun intended, people flee for the comfort of fundamentals when a coin price drops by a lot. 

Watch how fast they are too remind you what the team is building and what the future holds. 

These patterns repeat over and over.

Remember, when it feels obvious to everybody that means it’s already over or getting close to it.

I’m not saying there is no truth to it but I am saying it’s not more relevant than the market structure or the volume and volatility. 

Our minds can convince us to focus on the wrong things so easily. Just try to zoom out and keep the core importances intact at the same time.
