two thoughts - changing your opinion should be appreciated and even celebrated; the only people who will get mad about you changing an opinion are fixed mindset mids (mostly) - optimizing for fun should be encouraged because it can mean optimizing for wealth; never fun to lose money (v different than spending money)

While it’s true that evolving opinions should be seen as a strength, it might sometimes cause issues if changes are perceived as inconsistency or indecisiveness, especially in contexts where stable positions are valued (e.g., leadership roles). Communication and context really matters.
