the underlying energetical thread behind the new “explore” tab is egoic, and the equivalent of building a bazaar on varanasi it is shiny, loud, fun (?), but at the end of the day it is shallow because it invites the user to consume i appreciate the efforts behind, but i believe that is not what farcaster needs to succeed. at that point of the ganges, the river is already too polluted instead of a place where to showcase our creations and yell to the void asking for attention, we need an upstream temple on the heart of the himalayas that has at its core the invitation to create on the door of this bazaar there is a sign: “look how cool we are. come see us” it is self centered the door of the temple says: “who are you? come share that with us” the perspective and focal point is fundamentally different and i invite you, dear reader, to ponder which one a new user will resonate with the most do people inherently, at their core, want to consume? or do they want to belong and create?

I believe the idea behind that is to keep the builders motivated.nnMM does not need a marketing team because we are Farcaster marketers, their number 1 instrument of lead generation.nnThat's a very smart strategy, but it is risky as it only takes another decentralized social network to grab builders attention with a better offer for the entire ecosystem to collapse.
