the whole “farcaster has a higher quality network” thing people repeat constantly just seems like a total mind virus?

when you have algorithmic feeds, more accounts + posts basically translates directly into a higher quality feed. same as a larger LLM being more knowledgeable.

main thing i hear when people say the smaller network is better is that you’re part of a small demographic for whom these users are highly relevant.

not a farcaster hater, i like farcaster a lot. but i am a hater on farcaster koolaid.

it is a complete mirror of what happened on clubhouse, there is an initial period of highly curated / statused invites / community

i mean objectively farcaster is better than twitter but it's all about who has access to that higher quality network in an interactive way and that's changed to ppl in group chats
