This is how I paint my "oil" canvas old wip that I found in my files. I think I'll drop that wip in zora or rodeo later when I get home /vr /veg

Cool af Ivan! 🤘 🖤 I really want to try, more than painting, 3D modeling or sculpting. But I have a question, how accurate can you be, is it comfortable compared to a real brush? 🧐

To be honest: you can do things as precise as using a irl brush, but you need to study a little to adapt to the behavior of the machine and the program. I would say that it is even more comfortable (ergonomically speaking) than the irl brush because of the ergonomics of the control.

I see, thank you. Did you tried 3D modeling? If I'm not mistaken Blender is able to work in VR but mostly out of ignorance I feel like the level of precission needed isn't there yet. I hope I'm wrong tbh.

In fact, 3D modeling is my specialty in VR hahaha unfortunately blender removed the modeling interaction with vr a few updates ago :/ Precision depends a lot on the program, there are programs like Medium or Shapelab that don't lose anything when it comes to modeling with a digital pen.

@yatima What I have the most difficulty with in VR modeling is actually polygnos control, but I generally work with low poly for a conceptual and aesthetic option so I don't have that problem so much. Look at the veins near the neck and the details of the facial muscles

@yatima You can really sculpt in VR with the same richness of detail and precision as any other traditional modeling program, but I prefer to sculpt in VR due to the movement and because I find the process easier and more intuitive than traditional modeling.

@yatima The only problem is what I told you, as an artist who has the final product in glb format I always have to limit the details of what I do, so that the glb remains in a viable and accessible size at the end of the process.

Yes, I understand. Honestly I never did anything with a final deliverable on glb but I guess the both the polycount and the textures (if any) need to be measured carefully to be efficient in real time. Thank you very much, Ivan. Really. Everything is much clearer to me now. 🖤 🖤 50 $DEGEN
