Impromptu spent my morning spinning up Purple People, a podcast for the people of Farcaster. Done: - created cal.com account and new event type for scheduling recordings - created new podcast via Spotify Podcasts for cross-platform publishing - uploaded short video as test episode to initiate Apple & RSS distribution - casted to crowdsource name of podcast, now confirmed: Purple People - invited first few guests, so far all said yes, a few are already scheduled - created podcast cover image + video template (if video) in FinalCutPro - created new Chrome Profile, signed in & bookmarked the relevant sites - posted bounty to get music for the intro/outro, else I will AI-generate it - secured the basename purplepeople.base.eth, casted in /base channel - drafted template for the episode show notes as well as other metadata - submitted form to get listed on @pods to publish the episodes onchain Next steps: - record first episode - publish first episode

minor update on https://hexgen.xyz/ if you’ve been looking for more color ideas, you can now get colors not only from a wallet or transaction but also from any word, text, symbol, or letter we use sha256 hashing for this, but keep in mind that it’s case-sensitive

What's a good place to start learning how to build on Base? Can you recommend any good youtube channels or courses? I tried reading the OnchainKit documentation, but without understanding the basics, it wasn't very helpful. How did you get started? I'm also looking for more tutorials like those from @jessepollak

I was considering auto-filling the wallet address by connecting to the site, but unfortunately, my programming knowledge isn't enough. The only thing I've managed to implement is the wallet connection, which only works in the Coinbase Wallet browser.
