I worked as a food & landscape photographer for the past few years, but I also have a background in finance and worked as a fashion / shoe designer / makeup artist for over a decade prior to that. its mostly based on aesthetics tbh, with astrophotography the foregrounds often look super noisy at night so merging the sky with a foreground I shot at blue hour makes it look much better imo. I also like the endless possibilities that offers, I often shoot and am not inspired at all by the single shot.
