i feel like atomic habits in 2017ish (?) was kind of the beginning of the end for all of these valley ass newsletter type books

like all of these subtle art of not giving a fuck books have all been pretty cash grabby & devoid of substance since

probs just shouldn’t read too many books post 2010ish pub date

Morale of the story: we should write a shitty book and make a lot of money

1/3 through & it’s basically been a doge trade journal of a few thousand dollars, dialogue between him & his wife, him learning how to farm & then him getting scammed like the rest of us within our first few months in the space 

it’s very elemental storytime esq - basically one big dialogue over the course of 2021 between wife & few friends 

could read cover to back in 3 hours & i am a slow ass reader

not bad per se just don’t think we’re intended audience here

is it well written? im subbed to his newsletter and got the email about this. my insecure part wants to read it
