all the web3 stuff is pure fluff, none of the retail that interacts with that stuff gives a shit. they barely understand bitcoin and think solana is genius 

no one with real world agency is interested in crypto unless they're insane

less about gambling as a viable strategy to earn income or get out of debt, more about younger generations not having many paths to prosperity.

for example, doctor in Canada only makes ~ 150-175k in a major city so won't even qualify for a mortgage on a house. so why bother with traditional paths if they don't yield a good life?

might as well take on some risk with significant upside vs. spending 10+ years in school for a mediocre outcome.
