I do think ETH will be fine, I just struggle with the case for owning it vs BTC/SOL, and haven’t heard a good case for why it’s bullish *against* those assets. 

We saw like a week post-election where it outperformed, and then ETHBTC got sent back down to new lows. Would be keen to hear a material case for ETHBTC or ETHSOL being green over the next 1y

that said, the price action on eth over the last year has been abysmal & i’ve traded some of my eth into sol

the crypto markets are never rational & at the end of the day, capital will flow to wherever people are making the most money and right now, that is sol

moreover, eth core needs to learn how to market themselves properly & they DESPERATELY need to get off their high horses or they run the risk of losing genZ

that’s generally accepted capital flow for traders during normal cycles but right now it’s just up only

we’ve never seen anything like this before: proposed deregulation across the entire crypto industry with a full sweep by red 

we’ve fought for two decades & have never had this level of clarity 

so in theory, this should lead to a whole damn boatload of new entrants & tons of liquidity and thus, everything should go up together, not so much one at a time

now is really the time we see what the public and the normies are gonna do 

if sol and btc pump & leave eth behind in the dust, it implies a much deeper seeded perception problem amongst retail 

so if retail goes to sol and institutions go to btc… eths liquidity will likely follow

I’m a noob, but isn’t it usually bitcoin that gets the attention and then it funnels into eth soon after?
