2hrs into dragons dogma 2. I don’t know feels kinda old school with constant inventory management and repetitive loops. Close to quitting. Should I persist or cut my losses and start the cyberpunk DLC? I loved the original but that was also like 10 years ago 😅

👀 Haven’t started Dragons Dogma 2 yet — but I thought the same about BG3 which is why I was v hesitant to purchase and play. It was a slow burn and lots of getting used to but once I was in it, I was IN IT. I’d say give it a chance and greater than 5 hours in it. And then, cut losses if it ain’t it.

Side note, Phantom Liberty is a PHENOMENAL DLC, and is right up there in the top 3 DLCs for me. So, if it doesn’t pan out with DD2, know you’re walking into something 100% worth it.

It definitely has an old school feel which i personally find refreshing. There’s definitely some outdated gaming mechanics but overall the game is lots of fun! I would focus on leveling up the vocations and exploring the world. its such a gorgeous environment + combat skills are fun!
