the one thing I find confusing about the network school is people seem to view it as somehow divergent from the dominant ideologies & political movements of our time, when it seems a lot more like the apogee of globalization, neoliberalism, and capitalism. All terms used to describe a system enjoying 35 years of basically unchallenged dominance 

that said, I feel like it would be really fun to work with a ton of people self-motivated & delusional enough to rent a room at a markup, eat from a menu designed by the longevity guy, to build towards optimistic views of the future

I’m really excited about it, curious to see how it goes, kinda wish I redid my application
