summary of what i'm hearing from builders about the mini-app platforms...

- farcaster: big upgrade in dev experience with frames v2, seeing strong retention w/ improved discoverability, notifs performing crazy well, but obvs limited audience.
- worldcoin: user numbers are attractive, but meaningful lift to adapt product for the platform and actual usage / engagement underwhelming.
- telegram: still king with massive audience, stars make onboarding / monetizing non-crypto audiences way easier, easy build.

I built an internal dashboard for @stevedylandev.eth and I to monitor and stay motivated by Orbiter's progress. This is a little snippet of what we're tracking. Goal is to get to a point where we have 0 days with no new users, but I'm pretty happy with the early growth.

My favorite part of this tool is we built it straight into our own app. No need for a separate platform, just make another page that’s auth protected by our accounts 💪

ok this got me thinking…there’s a huge potential market for offchain software and tools (like a wallet that does stuff like this) that’s provably secure and always online 

i am not smart enough to solve this problem myself but i wonder if it’s possible

I respect all the companies that maintain a Farcaster presence despite the small near-term benefits. It’s a signal that they’re long-term thinkers and walk the walk on crypto values.
