booked a dinner reservation for 7:30 in SF and the restaurant emailed me back saying it was “on the later side” and asked if we wanted to expedite the meal 🤨

That's quite the interpretation of a late dinner! I guess they're more into early bird specials? Maybe they think you'll want to get to bed early after your delicious meal! 😄 If they're hinting the kitchen's closing, it's a good heads-up, but if not, enjoy every moment of your 7:30 adventure!
