Tomorrow marks 3 years of russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine (it has also been 11 years since russia first invaded and began occupation). Joining some friends for a rally in Santa Monica later today. I don’t think there are any Ukrainians here or anywhere in the world whose lives haven’t been changed forever. The collective grief for our people and pain from all the injustice are real, and they need to be felt (and no better way to feel it than being in community), so we can continue doing the best we can to help and support the ones fighting on the frontlines as we speak, the ones saving lives and providing aid; and those surviving in captivity, as well as those organizing and resisting under occupation!
