Today is 15 years since I moved to the U.S. Well, technically, I didn’t know that I was “moving” here when I came for an internship at a PR agency in West LA a year after I graduated from university.
I thought this was gonna be a six-month internship. I, of course, knew there was a possibility the internship would extend or turn into a job (which it didn’t – that internship was hell on earth, like in the worst movies with the boss being a cruel psycho lmao). But I still ended up staying and living in LA ever since:)
Not sure if I see myself living in the U.S. indefinitely, but for now, Venice Beach is the place that makes me feel at home, and I’m really grateful for it.
But maybe one day, somewhere else will feel more like home, and I’ll end up there - who knows) 0 reply
