My fellow aid workers from a local Ukrainian nonprofit were targeted and hit by a russian drone two days ago. They were evacuating civilians from the frontline in Pokrovsk. While the civilians they evacuated and other volunteers sustained minor injuries, a British volunteer, Edward, who was the driver that day, took the biggest hit from the explosives. One of his arms and a leg were amputated, and he is currently recovering in the ICU. 😓
