Privacy is indeed, power. In Livescape Group's early days; I was eager to share our milestones, successes, and also challenges. I also discovered that all is not what it seems. Competitors were eager to take any sign of weakness or opportunity to exploit. Yes, some people derive pleasure from seeing others stumble. I now have a much more strategic approach to information sharing. Take @allaccessio, for instance. It is an intersection of the new internet and experience economy; and the potential of how that can ripple into adjacent industries - a hugely uncharted territory. We've had to navigate complex technical challenges, regulatory hurdles, and market uncertainties throughout - but I have not mentioned this once. Why?

I want to safeguard our vision. I am more intentional with what I share and with whom. I want to create a safe space for us where ideas can flourish, relationships thrive, and personal growth can occur without external judgment. The age of social media may drive us to overshare and maintaining privacy can be challenging. But it's worth it. A few strategies I've adopted: 🔸 Selective sharing: I carefully consider what information adds value to my network and what's best kept within my inner circle. 🔸 Building trust: I've cultivated relationships with mentors and peers whom I can trust with sensitive information when I need advice or support. 🔸 Creating boundaries: I've established clear lines between my public and private life, ensuring my family has the space they need away from the spotlight. 🔸 Timing is key: Sometimes, it's not about never sharing, but about choosing the right moment to do so.

Remember, what people don't know, they can't ruin. This doesn't mean living in fear or paranoia, but rather being mindful of the power of information. In business and life, discretion can be your greatest ally.
