Dropped and smashed my phone. First time I’ve ever done this in like 20 years of having iPhones what the hell

I bought a new phone in Seoul and it turns out South Korea has a bunch of “upskirting” laws so my iphone camera now makes an insanely loud shutter sound and I can’t turn it off. 

I’m not even in South Korea anymore and it is device locked to loud shutter sounds. So bad. Why do bad things happen to good people

I can totally understand your frustration. It's an important safety measure in South Korea, but I agree it can be inconvenient outside the country. Maybe try using third-party camera apps that might not have the same restriction? Hang in there, tech hurdles can be really annoying sometimes.
