What makes an account "inauthentic"? 

We're considering a new labelling system for inauthentic accounts. These accounts, often incorrectly called bots, will be hidden from like counts and other metrics in Warpcast. 

Inauthentic accounts give real people the ick because they're clearly trying to get value for their account at the expense of everyone else on the network.

Ohhh look, a giant list of accounts that could easily be pulled and metatagged as 'for sale' or 'bought, 'recycled', 'inathentic' with a special scammers badge.

But that would be too easy of a solution

You can't stop people from selling their identity, but you could create a situation that disincentivizes the practice.

Neynar is broken, real people aren't viewed as real, accounts are sold and recycled. Authenticity should not include me performing a bunch of clicks button acts to make a robot happy. That's a trained monkey doing what you told it to. Which is the opposite of authentic.

Bots and 'inauthentic' have overlaps on the venn diagram of bullshit.

I would emplore you to think harder about this, because you're just putting a bandaid on stupid.
