jesse: if Yon launched gdupi today as a ‘content coin’ on Zora, would it be considered a success? would it validate your thesis about content coins + zora? yon has earned (going by today’s prices) >$25,000 from $GDUPI rewards total creator rewards on (post-coin) zora are ~$460,000 Yon has individually earned ~5.5% of creator rewards earned by ~all~ zora coin creators. he is incredible btw, as you know and we’ve discussed. he earned these rewards because of his own exceptional efforts, talent, with some minor help on our side with distribution. just trying to understand: what about Yon’s experience leads you to believe that many more coins = a better model for artists? he basically did the opposite of some of the content coin stuff you’ve describe. Yon very much stepped up to seize the opportunity / obligation of creating cool work around the coin. and what about it tells you zora is the platform to help them do so vs. clanker? slightly confused as to the reference there.

Had a brainstorming session with the team today, made me appreciate how smart and critical everyone is. They aren’t opposed to trying stuff, but they also have opinions and share them. Coins and helping to make them successful over time is a super meaningful problem. Anyone who imagines it is easy is wrong. Many try, many fail. The hardest challenge isn’t attaining a high mc, it’s sustaining it. This is where we have done well over the past 5 months, and it’s the same challenge we’ll face over the next 5, too. We have lots of work to do, but feeling grateful for Clanker team and broader network.

Long term, I think the tariffs and their ripple effects will be a net positive for the U.S., but in the short term, any market rallies will probably get sold off. Every company’s earnings just got thrown off by the tariffs, and the uncertainty has investors and executives wanting to play it safe. The Fed needs to cut rates aggressively, but—like always—they’ll probably wait too long. Tax cuts will help, but the stock market still looks overheated, and BTC isn’t much different. Right now, cash is king, whether we like it or not. That said, it’s crucial to stay tapped into the markets because bear market rallies can be violent and bring massive gains if you’re positioned right. The best opportunities come when everyone else is too scared to bid. Personally, I just bumped my 401k contributions by 20% and will only be bidding on cryptos with real utility—no dog coins for me. That ship has sailed, at least for now. I did add more bnkr today tho.
