My first public speaking class in college, someone was so nervous that they brought in a thermos full of wine, and got hammered before his speech. The room stunk of it sooooo bad.

This happened to me and my bff when we auditioned to The Amazing Race. 

Auditions were on stage in front of everyone at the largest shopping center in the state. There was a massive crowd and we were nervous af. 

While waiting for our turn, we found a bar and took a shot to calm our nerves. 

The wait was a lot longer than planned, one shot turned into many, and well, let's just say we were shockingly not chosen to be on the show.
