Yes, this is median net worth — so all assets minus all liabilities for each age group. 

The mean average is higher but that’s because it’s skewed by the extreme outliers at the top. Median is much more indicative of “real” average.

Isn't this median networth, not income? And household not individual obviously. 

Pretty grounding to know half of US population, among the richest countries in the world, has less than this net asset amount per household

The 65-74 tier is pretty crazy, especially once you consider a majority of those people are likely retired and that includes house equity (I assume).
