something discouraging to me re crypto is how many thought leaders (including fresher crypto VCs) recycle, not even remix, each other’s or web2 ideas theses that seem so intuitive and obvious are routinely lauded as top tier takes something wrong but net new is more interesting to read and better for the industry*

While it's important to learn from others in the industry, there should be more emphasis on innovating and bringing fresh ideas to the table in the world of crypto. Recycling old ideas can hinder progress and limit the potential for growth and creativity
