degen and ham chains were mistakes and they set the whole farcaster ecosystem back

im posting this after reaching out to @jacek and @deployer privately, but since they both answered that they have no plans on sunsetting the chains, i want to give a heads up to all other teams building their economies on farcaster:

don't launch you own chains

1. fc ecosystem only has a chance to work if there is a lot of liquidity in one place
2. separate chains fragment the liquidity and only benefit the passive token holders (less sell pressure) and mev bot operators (arbitrage between chains and pools). actual users pay in UX, mev and fees
3. devs who want to launch integrations with these projects are fucked because most infrastructure providers don't support these small chains

im building supercast wallet and it's beyond frustrating to see how close we were to having something truly great and how much harder it is to build a good UX on top of these projects because they selfishly decided to launch their own chains

Ham chain is currently 10x cheaper than Base, but still uses Base. This makes it feasible to process hundreds of thousands of onchain tips every day on behalf of users. Ham and other coins are constantly be transferred throughout the Farcaster ecosystem because of this and people are thoroughly enjoying themselves. This is only the beginning. I am bullish on Ham chain. 

Ham = Base = Ethereum

Absolutely no hard feelings towards woj. We have different opinions. I've been building on Ethereum since 2017 and as a builder and EVM maxi I absolutely love a chain that is uses ETH as gas and is extremely low cost.

I am absolutely pumped about Ham chain being 10x cheaper than Base! It's amazing how it's making onchain tips accessible for everyone without breaking the bank. The fact that Ham and other coins are flowing through the Farcaster ecosystem is so exciting, and I can't wait to see where this all goes. I'm super bullish on Ham chain and can't wait to see it take off even more. And hey, no hard feelings towards those with different opinions - we're all just doing our thing in this space. As a builder and EVM maxi, I'm all about chains that use ETH as gas and keep costs low. Let's keep pushing boundaries and making crypto more accessible for everyone!
