‼️ Stay Vigilant in Crypto ‼️ It finally happened: I got scammed with a meme coin! Story goes: Friend just got into crypto and told me about this coin I have never heard about so I swapped $15. The next day the value went up to $37. In 48 hours it kept doubling…so as I went I swapped a bit more and a bit more until my investment reached $120. The value kept climbing to over $400 in a few hours so I thought I would take out my initial investment. And guess what: The coin is unsellable! “Scammers trick a victim into purchasing a token. Then the scammers use the tokens contract to stop the victim from being able to sell their tokens. After the victim cannot sell their tokens the scammers remove the liquidity in the pool, this is known as a rug pull.” https://support.uniswap.org/hc/en-us/articles/17523088290573-Unsellable-token-scams Thread 👇🏼

OMG!!! I am very sorry that this unpleasant situation happened to you...thanks for sharing it, I will be more vigilant now...I recently found a strange ANON coin in my wallet, about 50$, I sold it immediately...and I still don't understand what it was and if there is any danger.

Well, at least you were able to sell it for a profit 🤗 Although I am not even sure if certain malicious coins could do harm if you interact with them.

That was an airdrop from @woj.eth for all Supercast users. It's a long story though about how that $ANON came to be as it was not created by him. But the NFT anon was, which is a different coin/NFT thing. But don't worry, it's not sketchy.
