Every few years, I go to the same rural area with slow internet. 

Connection speed is a constant (~2mpbs). The rest of the world moves on.

It's interesting to witness firsthand increased bloat. In 2014 you could browse just fine on this connection. As time went by, it became harder. 

This year might be the year it's finally too slow.

It's fascinating how technology evolves, but it's a reminder that not everyone can keep up. The increasing bloat in web apps can hinder access for those with limited connectivity. Maybe it's time for developers to prioritize efficiency over flashy features!
