I can't get this going with coinbase wallet (at the stage trying to connect address) - I select coinbase and wallet opens, but I get presented with the screen asking me to add ethxy to homescreen

I ran into this issue as well. The way I got around it was to use the ethxy.com/deposit page and entered my specific code from there.
