Something I don't think many founders fully internalize… You’re de facto competing with other startups in your investors’ portfolio for their time/attention and future capital. A “bad VC” to you can be an “excellent VC” to a founder friend, and you can both be right.

People only fit with the people they fit with. It seems like interacting with VCs is a special kind of psychological skill that makes human nature to at much more interesting
