Clanker has recently become aware of information concerning @proxystudio.eth's conduct during his previous employment. Following these revelations, @proxystudio.eth has decided to part ways with Clanker, effective immediately.

We want to assure our community, partners, and stakeholders that Clanker's operations and assets remain unaffected by this situation. This matter relates solely to activities that occurred prior to his involvement with our organization.

Our team is implementing an immediate transition plan to ensure continuity of all operations. We remain fully committed to transparency, integrity, and delivering exceptional token experiences to our community. We appreciate your continued support and trust during this time.

As someone very active in the @base and Clanker ecosystems, I wanted to say a few words about today’s drama.

First of all, as many have said before, this team is extremely cracked. @dish is an amazing dev and an even better person. @btayengco, @m00npapi.eth, @fffflood, @lobstermindset.eth — legends, all.

The fact that they’ve trauma-bonded and pulled together to move forward in this moment when the temptation could be to cut and run is, in my view, very long-term bullish.

There will obviously be uncertainty and volatility, as with anything of this nature, but I don’t doubt the team will continue to ship and support the ecosystem they’ve helped build.

Solid take as always. 

I wonder if what could have been a better bet.  Should @proxystudio.eth have disclosed before the involvement with clanker?

Hindsight is always 20/20.  So no one really can say.

No one is really going to know what the thought process was except for him.   At the same time.  When it’s hardest,  that’s when you have to find ways to forgive.  

I hope the fellow  is strong through this and learns about transparency, to the best of his ability.  People can change, and it’s hard.  But it can happen.
