Took a 20mg gummy, and now I'm watching Howard the Duck and snacking on sour patch kids. I loved that movie when it came out. Probably should not have been watching it as a kid though...

I did a lot of things I probably shouldn't have as a kid that contributed to the pursuit of philosophy. Read Rushdie's Satanic Verses at 13 🤣

🤣🤣🤣 I got a drunk a lot and started trying to fight people by quoting (poorly) philosophers. When I was in high school I read a lot of “theology” because this girl I liked was also into philosophy religion whatever. She became one of those Christian conservatives. I.. did not.

I love religion from an observer level, I find them all beautiful, but I find all their dogma constricting and their theology lacking. I mostly went back to college as a bucket list item after I got the fresh start from defaulted loans, and also to be able to defer those loans longer 🤣

When the dawn of time occurred, and people started thinking of things. I always believed that people kind of got on the way of whatever greater power is out there. I am on the tech team at my church. So I go to church every Sunday fairly religiously. I’ve only missed when I was out of town and when I had the flu. The church I go to is unity. Christian but all denominations go. That said, even tho there is a fairly wide range of religions, faiths and believes and what not that go, I do see that little bits and bobs of restrictions. I suppose when it’s all said and done, it’s not gonna be a matter of where you went to church, or what you adopted, it’s gonna be a matter of, did you live the life that you felt you as best. We all end up in the ground. Also, yeah. I’m planning on going back to school. Just don’t know when. Deferred loans sound nice! 😊

Church is community, it's why it keeps going <3 And it does evolve, slowly, through new denominations and branches. Because there is a deeper impulse there that other things rarely satisfy.
