What does “here” mean?

(If only a handful of people talk to your posts when you’re cross posting,  your engagement goes up even tho you aren’t around)

Engagement gives the illusion of a person being here, because they’re engaged. 

Which means people aren’t truly here.  If it counts as DAU (I can’t say I would be surprised) then where are we?
