Sorry, but no. Crypto people claimed the right to butcher the word "inflation" first, and we already decided that it now just means "increase in the total supply of a currency". https://x.com/axios/status/1794737808269070432

Why are we claiming the word inflation? Is that the focus that we should have right now? (I know that’s likely not your concern, but) If people are concerned about being able to afford things, whether someone says that they’re struggling because of high costs or high prices, focused on the wrong thing.
